Parenting plan cost in Montana

The parenting plan cost in Montana is $1,600.

That price is for an agreed parenting plan for unmarried parents. It is not an hourly rate, and it is not a starting quote that grows with every email.

What the $1,600 includes

  • Document preparation from attorney-reviewed options

  • Remote notarization

  • The court filing fee

  • Filing

What it does not include

  • Legal advice for the parent who is not our client

  • A contested custody case

  • Discussions with opposing counsel
  • Unique or special parenting situations
  • Extra work if the court requires a different process after filing

  • Services in states that are not open yet

Who pays

The parent who hires DoUsParent pays the fee. We represent only that parent. The other parent does not pay us and may hire a separate attorney.

Why the fee is built this way

Form-only services often look cheaper at the first screen. Help, filing, and notarization are commonly add-ons. A traditional attorney is the right choice for a fight, and that work is billed accordingly. Our fee is meant to cover the agreed-plan process from questions through filing.

More states will be added. Pricing for those states will be listed when the service opens.
